Why is "YoonAgain" Justified?
When President Yoon Suk Yeol was forced to step down by those in power, we were overcome with deep frustration and a profound sense of loss.
Following the declaration of martial law, President Yoon's approval rating reached 50%.
If his actions had truly been criminal, such a high level of public support would not have been possible. This indicates that a significant portion of the public recognized the necessity of martial law.
There was no direct harm inflicted upon the people during this process, and it was understood as a stern warning against anti-state forces—a final card played to save the nation.
Indeed, many citizens may have even hoped for stronger measures.
Let us emphasize once again: A president who declared martial law still maintained a 50% approval rating. Therefore, “YoonAgain” is a legitimate outcry from the people - a movement with rational justification.
President Yoon was elected with the highest number of votes in Korean history, and even after martial law, he continued to enjoy significant public support.
To remove such a president through unconstitutional procedures and an incomplete trial is a clear denial of national sovereignty and a grave threat to the foundation of our democracy.
That is why “YoonAgain” is a just cause - a national call that must be fulfilled.
Opinions may differ on the methods and timing. However, the essence of “YoonAgain” will never change: It is the rightful outcry of the people to reclaim the power that was taken from them.
And it is a demand for justice—to hold accountable those who have stripped the people of their sovereign rights.
“YoonAgain” is a legitimate action grounded in the will of the people. It is a vital process to restore our nation’s identity and reestablish constitutional order and values.
We will never stop raising our voices, and “YoonAgain” will be completed—by the hands of the people.
